History of our Company
The company was founded by Dustin Overbeck in 1998 and operated underneath the edoorcounty web designs business name for many years. In 2007, Dustin Overbeck received funding from local investors to re-launch the business as TOWN Web Design, Inc. and to create a product that would meet the high demands of municipalities across Wisconsin. With the new funding, the TownCMS Software package was designed & launched, and continues to providing enterprise-quality web hosting at an affordable price to municipalities across the State of Wisconsin.
By the end of 2008, because of the success of the TownCMS software, TOWN Web Design, Inc. reached an important milestone and became the largest provider of web sites to Towns in the State of Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Towns Association (WTA) called the TownCMS software a "Clerk Saver" because it meets the needs of Clerks while saving them valuable time.
In Summer 2010, the TownCMS Software received its biggest upgrade yet. Valuable feedback from our current customers regarding features and functionality were incorporated into the newest version of TownCMS v3. The best news is that the goal of keeping the software easy to use and "Point & Click" has been retained.
Current Company Growth
TOWN Web Design is growing across many different segments because of how easy the TownCMS software is to use. Several other industries find the software to be ideal for their use, and it can easily be customized for Small Businesses and Non-Profits. Additionally TOWN Web Design is actively developing software for mobile devices such as for the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. The apps can be updated through the same user-friendly interface that powers the web site pages, making it idea for small business owners to view their products in more areas.
Bio of Dustin Overbeck
Dustin Overbeck, is Business Manager of TOWN Web Design and holds an M.B.A. degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management (Glendale, Arizona), and a B.A. in International Studies, Spanish and German from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (Stevens Point, Wisconsin). His vision for the company is to continue to deliver an easy-to-use solution to all end-users, at a price that is affordable.
