  • Standard Website Disclaimer and Waiver

    The Disclaimer file is an indemnification that web site owners can post on the web site. In layman terms it states that you attempt to keep the information on the web site accurate and up-to-date, but that it does not guarantee that all the information online is correct, and that if there are questions, interested parties should contact the organization directly.

  • Converting Word and Excel files to PDF
    A useful web site for quickly converting Word and Excel files to PDF can be found at Doc2PDF. It is free, and can be helpful if you don't have Adobe Acrobat Professional. It works 99% of the time to create flawless looking PDF files. If you have any problems with it, just email Dustin and include the file as an attachment to have it converted manually for you. Oftentimes we can also optimize the PDF file and reduce the file size so that it is easier/faster to download.

  • Sending files that are too large to Email
    If you have files up to 20 MB in size, you can email Dustin the attachments. However if you have up to 100 MBs of files to send in one batch, a great web site to use is Senduit. You can upload files up to 100 MB in size and copy/paste the URL in an email.

  • Are you taking over the responsibility to update your organization's web site?
    If somebody else updated your web site and you need assistance to take over, just call us at 920-724-1001 or send an email. Please include complete details of the organization's name, web site address, your title and your contact phone number. We can have a new copy of your organization's tutorial sent to you immediately upon verification. We can also connect remotely to your computer (with your permission, of course) and walk you through the essentials and provide you with one-on-one training to get up to speed. The cost is FREE!

  • Received a letter from Domain Registries of America?
    Just toss the letter. Every once in a while Domain Registries of America will send out official looking invoices to organizations, requesting payment for domain name renewals. The cost for domain name renewals with them is usually twice to three times what we charge...so unless you want to switch to a different domain registrar and pay twice as much, just toss the letter.

  • Want to see how much activity there is on your web site?
    TOWN Web Design provides detailed and comprehensive statistics to your web site traffic, including how many visitors you have received, how visitors came to your site, what pages are the top visited, along with many exhaustive details that you never thought you would like to know! You will need to first register your email address with a Google Account (link opens new window). After you have registered your email address, just send an email to Dustin with complete details 
    of your organization's name, web site address, your title and your contact phone number. Account access to the web site statistics will be granted immediately upon verification.
